Kearny Christian Academy was founded in 1981, as a ministry of City of Hope International Church. The elders of the church, believed that God had something better for our children than what they were receiving in other school systems. With only a handful of students, Kearny Christian Academy opened its doors. Since that time, Kearny Christian Academy has grown significantly, but our mission and vision remains the same.
While Kearny Christian Academy graduates have gone on to attend some of the country's top universities and colleges and have developed successful careers, including teachers, small business owners, professionals, and civil servants; the success we find truly rewarding is where our graduates are in their walk with the Lord and in their active involvement in serving Him. Our graduates have gone on to be pastors, worship leaders, deacons, ushers, missionaries, youth leaders, authors, song writers, volunteers, community workers and more. We believe that every student who graduates from Kearny Christian Academy has received a life changing encounter in God's presence that will remain with them their entire life.
